newswipe — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, and your End User License Agreement) govern your use of the newswipe app. By downloading or using newswipe, you agree to them.

Last updated: 23 June 2026.

The app

newswipe is a news and podcast reader that fetches content from the sources you choose and presents it as a swipeable deck. The app is provided by the developer of newswipe (“we”, “us”). You may use it for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

newswipe Plus subscription

newswipe Plus is an auto-renewable subscription priced at $2.99 per month(or the equivalent in your local currency as shown at purchase). It unlocks an ad-free experience, offline & background listening, cross-device cloud sync, unlimited saves and custom drops, and premium voices.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same one-month term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.

One-time ad removal

As an alternative to Plus, newswipe offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes ads. It is a single payment with no renewal, applied to the store account used for the purchase.

Purchases, refunds & restore

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google — we never receive your payment details. Refunds are handled under the policies of the applicable app store. If you reinstall or use a new device, use “Restore purchases” in Settings to re-link entitlements you already own.

Third-party content

newswipe displays articles, audio, and images fetched directly from the publishers and podcast directories you subscribe to. That content belongs to its respective owners and is subject to their terms. We do not create, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, and availability can change without notice as sources change their feeds.

Acceptable use

Don't use newswipe to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or the services it connects to beyond what these Terms and your store's rules allow.

Disclaimer & liability

newswipe is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from third-party content or services accessed through it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple App Store

If you obtained newswipe from the Apple App Store, the following also applies: these Terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and we (not Apple) are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our responsibility. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory-compliance, or intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
